"more texts from my ex" was released on 19 August 2022 as the third and final single from Possibly Jamie's second extended play The Jami-EP #2. The title references the fact that the song expands on the themes and sound of Jamie's 2020 song "texts from my ex", included on The Jami-EP #1. The track, written and produced by Jamie, explores the difficulties of communicating with an ex. Having accumulated over 11,000 streams as of March 2024, the song is among Jamie's most successful releases to date.
