During Ween's stay in The Pod, Dean and Gene both contracted Mononucleosis also known as the kissing disease. (I certainly hope they did contract it from each other). In this interview, Dean addresses their Mononucleosis experience by saying "I think the mono thing was probably the best thing that ever happened to our band."
