"Mona Lisa" opens with the smooth intimacy of Fike's vocals, entwined with the strum of an acoustic guitar. As the song progresses, it settles into a head-nodding groove with Fike easing into a chill flow. Fike wrote the song with the track's producers Kenny Beats, Beat Butcha, Stargate and Willy Will Yanez. They created it for Metro Boomin's soundtrack album for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Originally part of the deluxe edition, plans shifted and the track was ultimately removed from the album
