Song
The song "Mockin' Bird Hill" is a cover of a song originally written in 1951 by Vaughn Horton. In 1992 it was covered by the Dutch band Roots Syndicate and became a large success, reaching the number one position in the Dutch charts. The song may be best known for appearing in the famous "Egel" ("Hedgehog") commercial for Centraal Beheer, in which a rasta in a three wheel vehicle draws the white lines for a winding road along a rocky coast, until he is forced to move out of the way for a hedgehog crossing the road.
