“Misery” is probably the band’s most experimental track featuring a mariachi band style instrumentation, as well as strings, accordions, and acoustic guitar. This, along with the album itself, was inspired by the works of Bob Dylan, especially his fifth album Bringing It All Back Home. In “Misery,” the author looks over several situations where people are in a current state of misery due to their past decisions. These examples being Virginia who is a prostitute who gets picked up by truckers, Mr.
