Midnight is a song from Abikyokan's 2006 album Zuper. The band were keen to make a song both hard and ambient sounding, and two key influences were David Bowie's "Ashes To Ashes" and Prince's "Let's Pretend We're Married". The song is set at a deliberately pounding 180bpm to create an uneasy atmosphere.
