“Mein Herz brennt” (German for “My heart burns”) is a song by the German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. It first appeared as the opening track on their third studio album “Mutter” (2001) and was used as the opening song during concerts from that era. The song later appeared on the greatest hits compilation “Made in Germany 1995–2011” (2011), and at the time of that release it was the only track on the album that had not previously been released as a single or accompanied by a music video.
