Meccano was Red Light Company's second single to be released. It failed to chart. It was later included on the band's debut album Fine Fascination. It was first released on the 11th August 2008 and almost a year later it was re-released on the 17th August 2009. Richard Frenneaux and James Griffiths were in a band called Dirty Perfect prior to Red Light Company who also had a song entitled Meccano.
