Making a Fire is a song by rock band Foo Fighters, the opening track of their 2021 album Medicine at Midnight. It was the fourth single for the album, releasing as a single on June 8th, 2021. It was Foo Fighers' 11th song to reach #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. It also reached #1 on the Billboard Canada Rock, US Rock Airplay, and OCC UK Rock & Metal charts. The song features female vocalists during the chorus, one of which being Dave Grohl's daughter Violet.
