Initially released as a single in early May 2009 and subsequently used in a TV commercial promoting the 2010 Lincoln MKZ, this track is a cover of the Peter Schilling song of the same name, Major Tom (Coming Home). Schilling's original song, Major Tom, is in German. The song centers around the fictional astronaut Major Tom (created by David Bowie) and a disaster in space.
