the track first draws the listener in with a very dimensional soundscape, its articulate enough to cause the listener to notice a impressive illusion of dimension. as a track in seems very interested in the use of stereo through music and its thick electronic background provides a full setting for the interplay of left and right. perhaps the name "magnetic north" as much a references to the very way speakers work, with magnetic polls changing in order to send vibrations, as it is with the deeply technological sound that is produced.
