"Madame de Pompadour" is a track on the Doctor Who Soundtrack from Series 1 and 2. It's named after the official Chief Mistress of King Louis XV in France. The track was used in the episode "The Girl in the Fireplace", which features Madame de Pompadour, played by Sophia Myles.
