“Mad Love” is the second single off Mabel’s album, High Expectations. It talks about a sexual relationship between two people. On her YouTube channel, the singer talked about the creative process behind the song-writing in the studio session after the set of artists had written the previous single: I just wanna write something positive that had attitude, but still was sending quite a simple message of just how good it feels when you like somebody and they like you, and sometimes it doesn’t have to be more complicated than that.
