“Lover Girl” is the second track and third single from Laufey’s third album, A Matter of Time. Making a return to the bossa nova inspired stylings of earlier hits similar to “From the Start,” the track arrives as a departure from the previous single, “Tough Luck.” Making its live debut on May 27, 2025, during her concert at Teatro Metropólitan in Mexico City, “Lover Girl” quickly became a fan favorite.
