The track was released as the fourth single from her seventh studio album Unapologetic on April 3, 2013, peaking at #55 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart during March of that year. Co-producer Luney Tunez discussed the track’s creation during an interview with Complex: that was one of the beats I really don’t like.
