The song, according to Nathan Willett, is about supernatural love and the journey people take to find it. Frontman Nathan Willet talked about the inspiration behind the track with NME. He stated that it was inspired by the book "Falling Upward" by: Richard Rohr. “I was reading a writer named Richard Rohr, he’s a Franciscan monk – a brilliant person.
