The track is a memorial to an accident in 2000, where 9 Pearl Jam fans died at Denmark's Roskilde Festival. On November 14, 2015 - the day after a terrorist attack in Paris, France - Pearl Jam were playing in São Paulo, Brazil and changed some of the original lyrics to the song as a memorial to the lives lost in Paris.
