Lose Control is a James single from November 1990. It was included on the reissued version of Gold Mother in 1991. It was described by NME as a song “that Morrissey would kill for”. It was released as a single in November 1990 to coincide with the short tour that including the videoed G-Mex show. It was also called Come To Bed on some early versions of the song. Despite the band’s debut appearance surrounded by bizarrely dressed and completely inappropriate dancers on Channel 4’s The Word, the single only reached 38 in the charts.
