“Look at Me Now” is the fifth single from Caroline Polachek’s debut album "Pang", released on October 14th, 2019. Polachek announced the folk-inspired ballad’s title on Friday, October 11th. In response to someone on Instagram, Polachek talked about the song and its place on the album: "The album is sequenced narratively: side A is descent through apathy, longing and fear, side B is re-ascent towards revelation, humor and trust. [“Look at Me Now”] is from side A."
