“Long Way Down” is the 7th track on One Direction’s fifth studio album, Made in the A.M. It was leaked with the rest of the album on November 2nd, 2015 after a mishap in security during an early album listening party. It was co-written by Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Julian Bunetta, John Ryan and Jamie Scott. The song indulges in a slow, dragging melody with subtle sad guitar sounds to recreate the feeling of falling down a long way.
