Long Time Man might have been written by Tim Rose, but Hans Chew 's cover explicitly takes its cues from the 1986 Your Funeral ... My Trial version rather than the '67 original. A Leon Russell-ish piano man and current member of One Eleven Heavy, Tennessean Chew further upped the swamp gothic ambience on his 2010 solo debut.
