This song was Song of the Day on mp3.com in 1998 and the band's promotional photograph was featured in the mp3.com video logo that was shown on CNN. Rod Underhill, music director of mp3.com, dubbed the band, "The best kept secret in Rock n' Roll." Loney was recorded in 1996 at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville Tennessee.
