The Temper Trap have said a song on their new album was inspired by last year's English riots. London's Burning was written after the Australian band were caught up in the middle of the trouble while living in Hackney. "We'd never really experienced anything on that scale," said keyboardist Joseph Greer. "It was happening 500 metres away from us. "It impacted us quite a lot, definitely enough to want to write about it." Rioting spread across London and other parts of England during the summer of 2011.
