During the second episode of Queen Radio with Beats 1, Minaj revealed that "LLC" is one of her favorites from the album, and that Jay-Z inspired her to re-write the song after he stated she "went hard on the third verse" rather than commending the whole record, this inspired her to re-write it. Nicki plays up with her signature alter ego Roman Zolanski flow on this track, rapping about the standard she’s set for female rap and her accolades.
