On “lil jeep,” Peep shows in a chorus filled with jealousy his love for Emma Harris, as well as the pain he feels when seeing her with other boys. It is during a Masked Gorilla interview, given for the fourth anniversary of the album, that Peep’s mother confirmed the identity of the girl Gus is referring to. Produced by Cian P in late 2015, the instrumental samples “Two people” by Jacques Siroul. Marking Peep’s and Cian P’s first collaboration, “lil jeep” was created without the two artists ever having met before.
