“Light It Up” is the 5th song off of Young Thug’s debut album, So Much Fun, and it is the first of four songs on SMF produced by Pi'erre Bourne. This song was first previewed by Young Thug on fellow YSL artist Lil Duke’s birthday, and it dropped along with the rest of the album on Thug’s own birthday. “Light it up” can refer to sparking up some drugs, putting on jewelry, or shooting up a block.
