"Lies Like Knives" is the 10th track from Engine Kid's Angel Wings album. An exercise in recycling, "Lies Like Knives" is the final form of an often regurgitated series of riffs that had followed the Kid around since their start. What began as "Furnace" on Astronaut was reworked as the instrumental "Trailhead on Lake 22" from the split LP with Iceburn and then finally was bludgeoned one last time into the shape of "Lies Like Knives".
