It's the journey of fighting for freedom. 70's style rock mixed with pinches of synth rock throughout. A heavy groove explodes at the end. The song is about the point of view of a group of people rebelling in favur of freedom. It's like a mix of Joy Division, ZZ Top, Danzig, and Depeche Mode.
