Last Caress is one of The Misfits’ most infamous tracks, known for its short, aggressive structure, catchy melody, and highly controversial lyrics. Despite its shocking themes, the song is often cited as one of the band’s greatest works, capturing the raw, dark humor and horror-punk aesthetic that defined The Misfits’ early years. Written by Glenn Danzig in 1978 and first performed live by The Misfits the same year. First studio recording made in 1978 but not widely released until the Beware EP (1980).
