The successor to “Lady of Neptune” from Tory’s third commercial mixtape, Playboy, “Lady of Namek” is the first single to his sixth studio album, Alone at Prom, released on November 15, 2021. The single was first teased from Tory, in a now-deleted Instagram story, showing a music video for the track being edited. On November 10, 2021, Tory encouraged his fans on Instagram that if one of his posts can reach up to 25,000 comments, then Tory will drop the lead single to the album on November 15.
