"La Novela" is boy pablo and Cuco's first collaboration together. It was released on February 11, 2022. The song was first heard when they played it live at a show in Los Angeles on November 1, 2021. In the video titled "boy pablo and cuco talking about "La Novela" (part 1)" on the boy pablo YouTube channel, they state that they began working on a song together in August of 2021 after a lot of fans from both communities wanted them to collaborate.
