Lead singer Rob Thomas wrote this after going to the funeral of a 2 1/2-year-old boy named Cody. The little boy was his girlfriend's nephew, and he died after a botched operation. Thomas didn't know the family well, but was very moved by the funeral. (thanks, Nathan - Spokane, WA)
