“Kills You Slowly” is the second single of the year for The Chainsmokers, who are continuing their release schedule established last year, with Sick Boy. “Kills You Slowly” follows up the massive collaboration with 5 Seconds of Summer, “Who Do You Love,” and talks about a couple that is fighting and on edge, trying to salvage what’s left of a seemingly broken relationship. Both sides put on fake personas to do so, and try to hold in arguments, fights, and disagreements to please others, even if it does kill them slowly.
