"Keep the Trance" is a song written by Madonna and Mirwais Ahmadzaï during the initial songwriting sessions for the Confessions on a Dance Floor album. The song ended up not being used for the album. The lyrics were eventually reworked and used for the Live Earth charity single "Hey You", whereas the instrumental track was used for the song "Get It Right" by Yas, which was also produced by Mirwais. "Keep the Trance" remains unreleased, but two different mixes of the songs were leaked to the internet in 2008.
