Nick Blessing wrote this song with the intention of releasing it as part of an album he wished to record with The Atomic Blues. It would have been a concept album called Death and Rebirth. He later completed it mostly with midi at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas and included a live bass track that he played himself.
