“Kamikaze” is a song recorded by Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen that serves as the second track of her 2023 project, The Loveliest Time, which is mostly composed of songs that didn’t make it into her fifth studio album, The Loneliest Time, released back in 2022. In an interview with Variety, Carly Rae Jepsen says that "“Kamikaze” is a fun one for me. Human nature is such that when there’s this idea that you could cause a little chaos to your life, but it’ll be fun, it’s hard not to press that button.
