The No-No's were mid-to-late 90s/early 00s Northwest co-ed indie pop/rock descended from Tiger Trap. "Jupiter Girl" (from the CD 'Secret Luminaries' on Chromosome Records released January 1999) sounds like "Sidewalk" by Built To Spill (released in the same year). The crescendo builds several times in the song and maxes out at the end. Singer Robin rides these crescendos and belts them out to their logical pop bliss conclusions. The similarity to "Sidewalk" is due to the ascending/descending nature of both songs.
