"JOYRIDE" is the first song released by American singer-songwriter Kesha as an independent artist since parting ways with Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records and RCA. It was released on July 4th, known as independence day in the US to celebrate her independence as an artist. The song was written by Kesha, Madison Love, and Zhone, the latter of which handled production. It is expected to be the lead single of her (yet to be announced) upcoming sixth studio album.
