This may sound odd, but this Lalo Schifrin track was a huge 'underground' hit in the mid-to-late 1970s UK disco scene. A jarring instrumental with a very solid reptitive 'one-note' beat, groups of people would dance 'trance-like' to this track, and which, at almost 6 minutes, was around twice as long as most dance tracks sun by DJs; I am sure there was an even longer version, maybe 12 minutes or so ? Structuraily, something of a precursor to 'trance-music' in the decade that followed
