It originally released on December 2, 1987 before being re-released for the 1990 film Pretty Woman on March 19, 1990. 5 different versions of the song have been officially released. The original song, followed by the most successful incarnation, a slightly edited and overdubbed version, omitting the Christmas references, created for the soundtrack to the 1990 film Pretty Woman.
