Islands of Men is a song that had been floating around for nearly 2 years within the bands fanbase. With a semi-official version being made for the website Puremix with producer Andrew Schep being surfaced online on January 12, 2024. The track had also been played live at many shows starting at around the time it had debuted on Puremix. The final cut for the album however had an increased runtime and a more exacting vision, though the initial idea is still there.
