"Irony" is Wonder Girls' debut single, which was written and produced by Park Jin-young and released on February 13, 2007 through JYP Entertainment. The track was firstly released as part of their debut album The Wonder Years, but later it was also re-released as a maxi single and also as part of The Wonder Begins EP (2017). "Irony" became one of the group's biggest hits in South Korea. An accompanying music video was also released and shows the members' revenge on Sunye's unfaithful boyfriend by using a voodoo doll to embarrass him.
