“Ill Mind of Hopsin 9” is dedicated to his son, Zade. It’s about how he feels bad that his son has to live with his ex-girlfriend Alyce Madden, who resides in Australia. In the song, he expresses his emotions and thoughts about being cut off of his son’s life. In September 2016, Hopsin had a trip to Australia where he was accused of beating up his girlfriend and then ended up on trial and was banned from the country for it.
