On her first single following her elimination on The Voice, "Idk" takes a look on mental health. On an Instagram live Bella hosted prior to the release, she says that she originally wrote this song in 2019, and decided to come back to it and finish it up. The song, originally titled "Strangers In My Mind," goes into Bella's thoughts and discusses how she is scared to show a potential lover the real things that go on in her world.
