“ICU” comes as the third and final track to be released as a single for Phoebe Bridgers album "Punisher". When the tracklist was announced the track was called “ICU”, a play on how the title sounds, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was renamed to “I See You” for the release of the single. After the full album was released the track was retitled again, back to “ICU” and all physical editions have the track listed as such. The song is about her breakup with drummer/band member Marshall Vore.
