“I SEEEEEEE YOU BABY BOI” was first previewed by Playboi Carti on September 15, 2024, via a snippet posted on his alternate Instagram page, opium_00pium, with the caption “YOUNG VAMP LOVE.” He would then play a longer snippet of the song on November 22, 2024, shortly before deleting it from his story. “Baby Boi” is a moniker Carti took in late 2023 during the first stages of the MUSIC rollout—a nickname he initially used for the late R5 Homixide.
