This was one of the first songs Cat Stevens played to some big shot fat cat guy who was all like 'play us a song cat you *****' and cat was like 'FINE' so he played 'I love my dog' and the guy was like '...ITS BRILLIANT' and they both went off and had bagels and talked about dogs.
