“I Know You is the second track from Faye Webster's eponymous sophomore studio album. Faye uses the phrase “I know you” in an attempt to reconnect with her partner, and their failing relationship. And she tries to reassure herself, something that she is not receiving from her ex-boyfriend. She said the following about the track in an album breakdown with NYLON: “I wrote this when I finally started realizing that the only relationship I had even been in was starting to fade. I guess it was my way of getting closure for myself?”
