Categorised as an '80s' song, the track wakes you up from the American Dream and reveals its darkest secret - the only people who will stay young are the dead who don't get to experience the later stages of life and always remembered by their youthful days. The song is dedicated to her friends' lives lost in Halsey's hometown, New Jersey. Halsey has revealed that Dolly Parton inspired this track on October 7th, starting the daily inspiration rollout.
