"Homesick" is the ninth track of Madison Beer's debut studio album, Life Support. It was released on February 26, 2021 through Epic Records. Madison first mentioned the song in a Zach Sang interview in 2019, saying "I have a song about how I'm an alien and I'm sad that my real parents didn't abduct me. I have a lyric in the song that's like my mom and dad first met under the moonlight but I didn't buy their cover story, it didn't feel right, I belong in space, and it's like a new song.
